Robert Roy Foresman

Robert Roy Foresman is an American historian and public humanities advocate focused on the preservation and interpretation of Nebraska history, with particular emphasis on Bellevue and the greater Great Plains region. A doctoral student in History at Liberty University, he earned his M.A. from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where his award-winning thesis examined the intersection of World War I service and Major League Baseball. His research highlights the lived experiences of everyday Americans and the cultural contributions of Great Plains women artists, while his public-facing work emphasizes community engagement, accessible interpretation, and the stewardship of local historical memory.
